Discus online game, spelled Disc Us on its own title screen, is a small deduction game that borrows the setup of Among Us and the spinning-blade theme of Disc Room. It runs in Unity inside the browser, so as a Discus unblocked game it works where the Among Us client does not. A round lasts a few minutes.
Quick Join drops you into a public room on the Asia, US or EU servers, or you create a room and share its code. Most players are scientists with three chores: carry oxygen tanks to the hub on the center floor, place glowing orbs on the pedestals in the top room and drop the banana-peel trash into the corner vents.
The traitor discs
Up to three players are traitor discs. They fake chores, drag oxygen tanks away and, with a tap of Space, become a spinning disc that kills anyone it touches. Scientists who suspect someone press the red button in the center hub to jail them, and a jailed player can talk the others into fetching the key. This is version 2.0, by keybol and mwaayk, with sound by doseone and music by getdizzyy. Among Us is on the site too if you want the original formula.
Discus FAQ
Is Discus the same as Among Us?
No, it is a fan-made game in the same spirit. Disc Us was built for the Disc Room game jam and has its own chores, a jail instead of ejection, and killers who become spinning discs.
How many people can play Discus together?
A room takes a small group, and up to three of them can be traitor discs. Create a room and pass the code around to play with friends only.
What are the tasks in Discus?
Oxygen tanks go to the hub in the middle, orbs go on the pedestals upstairs, and trash goes into the vents in the corner rooms. Placed orbs cannot be removed by traitors.
Why does Discus put players in jail?
Jail replaces voting. Anyone can press the red button on a suspect, and a wrongly jailed scientist gets out when the others use the key.
