Crown Defense online game is a stand-your-ground tower defense in portrait: a king sips tea at the top of his tower, waves of red bean-shaped creatures march up from below, and your job is to keep them off him for as many days as you can. FreezeNova built it in Construct, and the Crown Defense unblocked game plays with the mouse alone, dragging helpers and powers onto the field rather than pressing keys.
What the coins buy
Every kill drops coins and XP. Coins go into the tower, the swordsmen in front of it and the special powers, while XP lifts your level and adds helpers, with the game’s data files naming an archer, a bomb, a distraction and a rain cloud among them. Fire enemies arrive later and thunderclouds cool them down. Nothing you buy can be refunded, so read before you buy, and a x2 button speeds the waves once you are comfortable.
Lose the tower and the run restarts, but the coins stay for the next attempt. In our test the FreezeNova splash sat on Tap to Play without responding, so if you get the same, reload once. Kingdom Rush Frontiers is the full-scale lane defense, and the other castle keepers wait on the strategy games page.
Crown Defense FAQ
Why does Crown Defense stay on the Tap to Play screen?
The splash waited for something that never came in our test. Reload the page and click the tan panel once; if it still sits there, it is a known issue we are looking at.
Do I keep my coins after losing in Crown Defense?
Yes. The tower falling ends the run, but everything earned carries over, so each attempt starts a little stronger.
